The Bay Area Studio Artists are showing a “The Herd Instinct” at Orinda Books at 276 Village Square, Orinda, during the month of October. The show explores beings hanging out with their herds and includes everything from a peep of chickens to a mob of sheep to a loveliness of ladybugs. And even an array of apples.

The artists in the group are BASA members Suzun Almquist, Jeanette Baird, Ellen Reintjes, Joanne Taeuffer, Sharon Tama and Marcy Wheeler along with two guest artists, Lassie Colebourn and Ruth Stanton.
