Women Who Dare

Benicia Library

August 18 – September 17, 2020
Reception:  Sunday, August 23,  2 – 4 pm

A hundred years ago, women who dared to march in the streets, stage huger strikes and go to prison for trying to vote, won women’s suffrage in the U.S.
In the century following that change, women have dared to have careers, to seek and use political power, to have independent lives, and to shape the world.
In Women Who Dare, the Bay Area Studio Artists celebrate women’s lives in this modern world.
