2020 Art Exhibits

Inspired By…

Originially scheduled for April at the Orinda Library, which was closed in response to the Coronavirus. Replaced with a virtual version you can watch from the comfort of your home. (Click to see it.)

Part of the show will be hung in May if the library reopens.

We’ve collected images that depict what inspires us. This show gives each BASA artist an opportunity to express herself. It’s sure to be diverse, eclectic and surprising.

Women Who Dare

Benicia Library  ♦ Aug. 16 – Sept. 18 ♦ Reception: Aug. 23

In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage, BASA artists paint women who have dared on both large and small scales. To have careers, to seek and use political power, to have independent lives, to find their own paths to fulfillment. And to shape the world we live in every day.

Favorite Paintings

John Muir Hospital Aspen Surgery Center ♦ CANCELLED

The long hallway wall at the John Muir Hospital Aspen Surgery Center will be home to some of our favorite paintings. All shapes, sizes and subject matter. If you don’t have a reason to be at the surgery center (and we hope you don’t), why not stop by just to see some art? Cancelled because of the Covid-19 Virus.
