John Muir, Starry Range of Light

John Muir, Starry Range of Light

The Bay Area Studio Artists celebrate the National Park Service’s centennial with paintings of their favorite parks and park activities through Feb. 13 at the Lafayette Library. The 29 works on exhibit celebrate the landscapes, animals and people of our parks.

Included in the show is John Muir, Starry Range of Light, a portrait created from 20-10 x 10 canvases painted by individual members of BASA. Each canvas is only a part of the subject, painted in an individual artist’s style. The images combine in a cohesive whole made up of unique pieces.
